Windows Platforms
The Internet Setup module adds very little disk space and
memory overhead to a standard Communicator
package. However, the exact disk space footprint of your
package depends on what other modules you include in the
package.
The hardware and software
requirements for a dial-up Communicator Professional Edition
package are listed below.
An IBM-compatible computer
with the following:
486 (or later) processor, running Windows 95/98
25 MB to 35 MB of free hard-disk space.
16 MB of RAM.
256-color (or better) monitor
An internal or external modem with a data-transfer rate of
28.8Kbps or faster or an ISDN device. Note that the Account
Setup program does not support the use of ISDN for
connections to our Internet account server.
Mac Platforms
OS 8.0 or higher
30 MB of free hard-disk space.
24 MB of RAM.
